Many things happened since the first time of Mr. Nikman joining Heifer Indonesia project. One of remarkable thing for him and his family that after 20 months being project participant, he is equal with Heifer Indonesia to help poor farmers to help themselves. Before joining Heifer Indonesia project, as poor farmer family,  Mr. Nikman did not dare to dream that one day he did help other poor farmer through livestock. Because Mr. Nikman him self live in hard life condition. Previously Mr. Nikman did not have permanent job. Sometimes he works as peasant but in another time he worked as a temporary labour at a sugar company. But, at last,  he did.

On September 16,  2005, through modest ceremony, Mr. Nikman pass five sheeps on to Mr.Muslim, another needy farmer. In addition, Mr. Nikman was also passing on some money for animal housing and animal medicine. It was a great moment for Mr. Nikman and he felt happier than when he received the livestocks.

After passing on resources to another poor farmer, Mr. Nikmat and his family continues to hard work to raise his remaining sheeps. Gradually, his family hard work was pay back. In September 2006,  Mr. Nikman had sixteen sheeps. He sold fifteen among them and buy one cattle. Meanwhile he kept raising  the only one remaining sheep which growing well now.

With cattle and sheeps belong to him, Mr. Nikman dare to dream that one day he did send his lovely sons  to enter higher education level for better future.

For Mr. Nikman, livestock and trainings provided by Heifer Indonesia is a real golden gate to enjoy  better life and brigther future for his sons .(supriyono)
